The Pinks

The Pinks, an immersive animation and sound based sculpture installation, was developed over a five year period with the support of grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. Working with a team of animators and a sound designer I created six animations based on characters that I originally hand carved in Styrofoam.

“The animated characters are intended to have equal presence to the humans in the room. Much like my earlier work, The Pinks reflects aspects of ourselves and our bodily existence in the world.”
